Immram
The decision to walk St Declan's Way in ten days with our families was the most one of the most radical and enlightening we had made. And as we walked, saying the prayer we knew best, we entered into a mystical conversation with the very land, and her travails and triumphs were daily laid bare at our feet. It was divine instruction, it was lunacy.
Immram premiered at the 37th Galway Film Fleadh 2025. An experimental nonfiction film that visually navigates the complex connections between place, language, environment, and contemporary lived life in Ireland, which it sees as an outpost of a resurgent indigenous European culture. Directed by Michael Holly and Mieke Vanmechelen, and featuring Siobhán de Paor and Diarmuid Lyng, the film is funded by the Arts Council.
Fierce Quiet Films

The weaning of my second child was an unexpected battle, one I did not anticipate and highlighted once again the absence of the mother's experience in the public sphere. So I resolved to share to contribute my story to the archives for future mothers.
Scoitheadh, a short film directed by Aoise Tutty Jackson and conceived and performed by myself premiered at the Cork International Film Festival in 2025.
''I found the third short, Scoitheadh to be the highlight of the selection. While a lesser film may alienate the viewer through depictions of a lifestyle possibly deemed strange by the average viewer, Scoitheadh’s beautiful photography captures a mother whose security in her sense of self is incredibly endearing, creating a fascinating portrait that avoids any sense of pretension or detachment.''
